Originally from Manchester, Steven has become one of the most illustrious names in British hairdressing. He trained initially in Manchester and then moved to London when he was 21 to further his training at Michaeljohn.

In just a few years, Steven was promoted to the Art Team and it was following this that his profile grew internationally. In demand from leading fashion photographers, his work featured on the pages of directional magazines such as Vogue, Tatler, Harpers & Queen and Elle. He continued to work on the collections in London, New York, Milan and Paris and also was working on hair shows and seminars throughout the globe. Opening his salon on Mount Street has enabled Steven to realise his dream of creating a space that reflects his philosophy – simplicity, purity, honesty and creativity.
