| During August we were delighted to be informed that the Art team had reached the final of the British Hairdressing Awards. A firm favourite on Mount Street for the last 14 years, Steven established his eponymous salon with his wife Veronica following illustrious careers with Michaeljohn and Daniel Galvin respectively. Offering first-class hairdressing and colour as well as a full range of beauty treatments, the Steven Carey salon boasts a professional, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Key to its success are the staff. Not only impeccably trained, their calmness, friendly manner and ability to create wearable, desirable styles are the reasons clients come back time and time again. Steven is committed to continuing education and strives always to drive creativity and excitement in hairdressing. The creative team produces an annual photographic collection that showcases their exceptional vision and expertise. To encourage excitement within the industry the team also runs training seminars and workshops for hair professionals across Europe and the rest of the world. Steven and Veronica look forward to continuing to offer fabulous hair and service that is second to none, as well as training the next generation of hairdressing stars, for many years. This starts with mood boards including sketches, colour ideas and make-up, leading to the preparation of wigs and hair pieces for the Art Team Collection. Summer The secret’s out! Having been Penny Lancaster and Rod Stewart’s hairdresser for many years Steven, Veronica and Anne-Marie jetted out to Portofino in Italy to do the styling for Rod and Penny’s big day and were delighted to be guests at the wedding ceremony and party.
